We are seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to join a leading sheet metal business and drive revenue and build long-term relationships with OEM clients. This role involves identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts to grow their presence in the OEM market.
Key Responsibilities:
OEM Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to expand relationships with OEMs.
Lead Generation & Business Development: Identify and prospect new OEM clients through outreach, networking, and industry events.
Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements and closing deals.
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Collaboration: Work with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and support seamless client implementation.
Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate CRM records and report on sales performance.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years in sales or business development, in the OEM sector and be able to read drawings CAD/CAM.
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; proficiency in CRM systems.
Other: Ability to travel as required; self-motivated and goal oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
Industry Experience: Familiarity with OEM sales cycles in industries such as aerospace, medical equipment or manufacturing.
