Maintaining Cleanliness:
Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in classrooms, corridors, offices, and other common areas.
Cleaning desks, tables, chairs, and other surfaces.
Cleaning windows, doors, and mirrors.
Emptying and cleaning trash bins.
Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
Restocking restroom supplies like soap, paper towels, and hand sanitizer.
Safety and Security:
Reporting any hazards or defects to the appropriate supervisor or caretaker.
Following health and safety regulations and procedures.
Using cleaning equipment and materials safely and properly.
Other Duties:
Participating in training sessions as required.
Working as part of a team, collaborating with other school staff.
Maintaining school policies and procedures.
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people.
Undertaking specialized cleaning during school closures or other periods. INDWH
