JOB TITLE: BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LOCATION: Remote or hybrid working, depending on location

SALARY: £50,000 - £55,000 plus commission structure DOE (depending on experience

ABOUT US: We are a leading healthcare recruitment agency, providing both temporary and permanent staffing services to the NHS, Social Services and other Stakeholders throughout the UK. Due to substantial opportunities through newly accessible frameworks, we are experiencing rapid growth and are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager immediately.

JOB OVERVIEW: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our business growth by approaching trusts and organisations that operate under the RM6281 Workforce Alliance framework. You will collaborate closely with the Head of Business and associated Client Relationship Managers to maintain and develop relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and service delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Identify and create new business opportunities within the RM6281 Workforce Alliance framework
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company targets and
• objectives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in NHS Trusts and related organisations
• Work closely with the Client Relationship Manager to ensure seamless client engagement and relationship management
• Present agency services to potential clients, highlighting our unique value propositions.
• Assist the Head of Business to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to define the overall business development strategy
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to clients
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure new business
• Provide regular reports on business development activities and outcomes to senior management
• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote the agency

REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven experience in business development, preferably within the healthcare staffing or recruitment industry.
• Understanding of the RM6281 Workforce Alliance framework and or other similar frameworks within the NHS.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed business development targets.
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Full clean UK driving licence
• Willingness to travel as required for business purposes

WORKING HOURS:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full remote working can be considered, although there would be occasions to attend the office for meetings on occasions

ABOUT THE ROLE: This role is as a result of growth owing to recent award of a large contract. Full support will be provided to full support and training across our business, as well as access our business database. The business has seen rapid growth over the last five years and has also opened an overseas office, expanding their temporary worker talent pool to over 200+ people.

IDEAL CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate will have relevant healthcare stakeholder management experience and strong, proven business development skills. You will have a stable work history and be able to demonstrate where you have added value to an employer through sales performance and relationship building skills. Experience selling a consultative service solution into the healthcare arena is highly desirable.
