Job Title: Mill Operative

Salary: Starting at £30,000 per annum
Hours: 12-hour Shift Pattern (Days and Nights)

The position involves a 12-hour shift pattern, including both day and night shifts, with overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate two flour mills in a 24/7 production environment.
Monitor and adjust cleaning and mill processing equipment.
Ensure the production of high-quality flour within specified standards.
Continuously work to increase mill capacity and optimize yield performance.
Comply with all food safety regulations and relevant programs (e.g., HACCP), while maintaining necessary documentation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Assist the maintenance department with preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks.
Complete various shift production and food safety reports.
Load flour tankers as required.
Collaborate with other departments as needed.
Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:

Willingness to work 12-hour shift patterns, including nights and days.
Valid driving license and access to a vehicle are essential.
Previous experience in a similar setting is beneficial, but training will be provided.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Understanding of workplace health and safety protocols.
Good physical fitness is required for this role.
