Job Title: Van Driver

Salary: Hourly pay, £11.46 p/h

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join our client team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering materials to customers on-site. You’ll be operating a van that may be loaded to the maximum weight of 1.1 tons, although this weight will typically be split across multiple deliveries. This is a hands-on role that requires careful attention to safety and time management.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely load and deliver materials to various customer sites.
Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain the van in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
Requirements:

Valid UK driving license with a maximum of 3 penalty points.
Experience driving vans is preferred but not required.
Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving materials.
Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
Shift Pattern:

42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Working hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with a 1-hour break during the day.
Overtime opportunities are available and paid at the standard rate.
Compensation:

Hourly pay at the minimum wage rate.
Eligibility for a share of the branch’s performance-based bonus.
