Office Administrator – Construction
Preston
£25,000 - £30,000 + Package
Our client is a well established construction business based in Preston. They work on a mixture of new builds and refurbishments across most construction sectors. They are now looking to recruit an Office Administrator to join their construction team.
As a Construction Administrator you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth operation of the business by providing administrative support to the construction team. Further duties will include:
* Assisting with the preparation of site documentation, reports, and presentations.
* Maintain accurate records and manage filing systems.
* Handle communications with subcontractors and suppliers as well as the processing of their invoices through to the accounts team.
* Support the team in various administrative tasks as required.
* Answering customer queries via telephone and email
* Managing operatives’ diaries
* Providing administration support and carrying out ad hoc project and administration duties
* Liaising with our clients and contractors
Previous experience or knowledge in the construction/building supplier industry is preferrable along with strong organisational skills and excellent communication. You must be a good team player and must be proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
