Senior Social Worker | Adult Localities Team | London Borough of Bromley
We are looking for a Senior Social Worker with current Social Work experience to join a busy front door team. The role is in one of the locality teams which deal with a broad range of Adult Social Care referrals.
The Social Worker will based in the Bromley South office and will need to be a driver.
Duties:
* To promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults in line with the well-being principles set out in the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Act 2022.
* To support carers to continue in their role
* To protect adults at risk by robust assessments and the use of safeguarding procedures with an emphasis on making safeguarding personal.
* To assess the needs of Adults and their Carers in line with LB Bromley procedures based on the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
* With the Adult and Carer, formulate and implement personal budgets and support plans
* Monitor, review and evaluate support plans including direct payments in order to ensure that they are consistent with eligible need.
* Provide supervision, support and advice to other team members and deputise for the Team Leader
To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
