Quantity Surveyor

Construction – main contractor – residential, healthcare, commercial, retail

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with strong commercial acumen to join the surveying team of one of our clients who specialize in various sectors and work on projects across the UK.

The Candidate

* Quantity Surveyor experience with a reputable main contractor

* Proven experience in managing packages worth £10m or more

* Construction qualification

* Contribute to achieving the appropriate commercial result through the provision of accurate financial reporting

* Manage subcontractor supplier accounts, financially and contractually, in order to secure full entitlements under the contract

* Excellent knowledge of JCT, contract management and Excel

* The ability to communicate, influence and challenge at all levels to deliver results.

* Holds a full UK driving license.

* Experience of managing a portfolio of projects.

* Experience of working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.

* Experience of commercial processes within large scale projects.

* Have strong interpersonal skills; able to communicate at all levels and across the business
