Role Overview
My client are an established contractor operating across refurbishment, maintenance, new build and heritage sectors within the construction industry. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their Repairs & Minor Works team. This role is essential in supporting the efficient delivery of maintenance and refurbishment projects, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Repairs & Minor Works team, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.

Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and coordinating appointments.
*
Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and project documentation.
*
Assist in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
*
Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
*
Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and contractors to facilitate project delivery.
*
Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage communications with clients and residents.
*
Update and maintain client portals, ensuring information and performance data are accurate and up to date.
*
Assign new work orders to appropriate trades and monitor progress.
*
Ensure project completions are finalised and validated with necessary documentation.
*
Collaborate with surveying teams on invoicing and account management processes
Essential Requirements
*
Longevity with current or recent employer.
*
Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or maintenance sector.
*
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
*
Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
*
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
Desirable Attributes

Familiarity with repairs and maintenance processes.

Experience with industry-specific software or databases.

Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.
Benefits Package

Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum.
