Role Overview

My client are an established contractor operating across refurbishment, maintenance, new build and heritage sectors within the construction industry. They are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to join their Repairs & Minor Works team. This role is essential in supporting the efficient delivery of maintenance and refurbishment projects, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.​

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative assistance to the Repairs & Minor Works team, including scheduling, documentation, and correspondence.

*

Act as a point of contact for clients and stakeholders, addressing inquiries and coordinating appointments.

*

Maintain accurate records of repairs, work orders, and project documentation.

*

Assist in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

*

Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

*

Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and contractors to facilitate project delivery.

*

Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage communications with clients and residents.

*

Update and maintain client portals, ensuring information and performance data are accurate and up to date.

*

Assign new work orders to appropriate trades and monitor progress.

*

Ensure project completions are finalised and validated with necessary documentation.

*

Collaborate with surveying teams on invoicing and account management processes

Essential Requirements

*

Longevity with current or recent employer.

*

Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction or maintenance sector.

*

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

*

Competence in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

*

High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.​

Desirable Attributes

Familiarity with repairs and maintenance processes.

*

Experience with industry-specific software or databases.

*

Ability to identify issues and propose effective solutions.​
