Job Opportunity: Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer

Location: Milton Keynes

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineer to join a leading European Technical Centre. The company is a global market leader in industrial automation technology, offering innovative and high-quality solutions to its customers worldwide.

The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated engineer to provide top-tier technical support to customers, European subsidiaries, and global headquarters. Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting product testing for customers

* Assisting in product development activities

* Responding to technical inquiries from subsidiaries

* Investigating product claims and issues

* Preparing various technical documents and reports

* Developing and delivering technical training

* Conducting market research

* Supporting new product launches

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

* A degree (2:2 minimum) in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering

* A willingness to learn basic Electrical Engineering principles

* Experience in writing technical reports

* Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software

* The ability to work within a multicultural team

* A valid passport (occasional European travel required)

* Excellent spoken and written English skills

Desirable Skills (Not Essential):

* Knowledge of temperature control equipment design and operation

* Experience in designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery

* Ability to plan and manage projects independently

* Customer and supplier interaction experience

* LabView knowledge

* A valid UK driving licence

* Additional European language skills
