MFL teacher - Bury - ASAP start

A dedicated and passionate MFL Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Bury, to join them on a full-time basis as soon as possible, teaching key stage 3 & 4 ASAP, on an ongoing basis, for the full academic year.

This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.

You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.

The opportunity is to work at a school that has Good behaviour and attitudes, which means students behave well in lesson and around the school site. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of Spanish key stage 4 an French key stage 3

Degree educated with a good classification

Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, B.Ed, QTS, etc) in MFL

Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)

Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)

Up to date Prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)

Up to date behaviour management training (desirable, however, training can be provided).

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of GBP45.20.

Provide a minimum of two professional references.
