The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing sales strategies, developing key accounts, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires a self-motivated and target-driven professional with strong relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of precision engineering.
Key Responsibilities
* Track and report on sales performance, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
* Maintain and grow business development efforts with existing key accounts in the cutting tools sector.
* Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
* Prepare and follow up on sales proposals and quotations.
* Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive market penetration.
* Represent the company at trade fairs and industry events.
* Collaborate with internal teams to respond effectively to customer needs and technical requirements.
What’s Required?
* A time-served engineer with experience in aerospace, oil & gas, or automotive industries is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of metal cutting and machining processes.
* Proven sales experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
* A proactive problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* IT-literate, with experience using sales and reporting software.
* Confident in presenting technical solutions to customers.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
