Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a vibrant primary school in Hailsham. This school provides a supportive and stimulating environment where children thrive. Essential Criteria:

Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in an educational setting is preferred, especially experience supporting children with diverse learning needs.
Education: A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to varying classroom situations and tailor support to meet individual student needs.
Patience and Empathy: Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards children's learning and personal development.
Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and the wider school community.
