Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic facilities team until Christmas. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings and equipment are well-maintained and operating efficiently, contributing to a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
Collaborate with external contractors and service providers as needed.
Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades and renovations.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certification or degree preferred.
Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
