We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position at an SEND school in the Birmingham area, where you will be working with children with Visual Impairment (VI).
To be considered, you should have prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, working with SEND Students and strong understanding of the SEND school curriculum, and a compassionate, nurturing approach to your work.
You must be a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or above
Have an excellent knowledge of the UK SEND school system
Have experience working with SEND, particularly at primary level
Ideally have worked for at least 12 months within Special Needs
Safeguarding level 1 trained
DBS on the update service
VI/ASD/Complex needs experience

The school looks after primary and secondary age children. Your duties will include offering tailored support to students with additional needs.
