Key Responsibilities of the Pre-Construction Project Manager

* Leadership & Planning: Oversee prime residential stonework projects including flooring, wall linings, tiling, and bespoke joinery.

* Collaboration: Work closely with architects, designers, and contractors to bring visionary designs to life.

* Drawing Management: Ensure project drawings are accurate and timely, aligning with contract specifications and stone manufacturing standards.

* Technical Preparation: Create detailed technical documentation to support project execution.

* Site Coordination: Liaise with site management to synchronize installation durations and project timelines.

* Budget & Resource Management: Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

* Client Communication: Maintain strong client relationships with regular updates and effective communication.

* Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality measures to guarantee top-notch fabrication and installation.

* Risk Management: Proactively address and mitigate project risks and obstacles.

What We’re Looking For:

* Experience: Proven track record in managing complex architectural stonework projects.

* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of best practices in procurement, fabrication, and installation of internal stone.

* Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Construction Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction management principles and industry standards.

* Problem-Solving: Keen attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

* Multitasking: Ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.

* Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Bluebeam and Procore is a plus.

Your Path to Success:

Ideal Pre-Construction Project Manager will have transitioned from design or estimating in fit-out construction to pre-construction project management, with at least 2 years of UK experience. Please note, we are specifically seeking candidates with UK experience
