Our client has an exciting opportunity to join their team as a Meter Technician on a 6 month temporary basis.

Details:

Meter Technician
£14.27 per hour
Scunthorpe / Gainsborough area
6 months temporary
Hours:

37 hours per week
Monday – Saturday
Monday – Friday between the hours of 6:30am - 20:00pm
Saturday between the hours of 8am-2pm
The Role:

As a Meter Technician you will manage your own workload, so will feel like you are your own boss with the support of a big organisation behind you.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
Obtain accurate readings from water meters
Carry out meter exchanges – (Full training will be provided)
Collect meter data
Lastly and most importantly provide excellent customer service

Your Skills:

Experience in retail, hospitality or previous experience being on your feet for long periods
Customer focussed individuals
A professional image is very important - you will be provided with a uniform and a van
The role can be physically demanding, and you can walk in the region of 3 to 8 miles per day.
You will also use a handheld computer to carry out your work, so basic IT skills are required
A Full UK driving licence
