Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to produce precision parts for various industries. The role will involve working with high-precision machinery, ensuring the production of high-quality components that meet strict specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Set up, operate, and maintain CNC turning machines.
* Interpret engineering drawings and program machines accordingly.
* Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to ensure optimal quality.
* Inspect and measure finished parts to ensure they meet tolerances and specifications.
* Troubleshoot any issues with the CNC turning machines and perform basic maintenance.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and meet production targets.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
* Keep accurate records of work completed and parts produced.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a CNC Turner, with a strong understanding of CNC machining techniques.
* Proficient in programming CNC lathes (FANUC, Siemens, or similar).
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
* Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ideally, experience with a variety of materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.
* A proactive attitude with a desire for continuous improvement.
