The Role – PRU Teaching Assistant

As a PRU Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students aged 14 - 16 in developing vital life skills, with the aim of reintegrating students back into mainstream education. The role requires managing challenging behaviour, so prior experience with behaviour management is essential. A successful PRU Teaching Assistant will be resilient, hence experience in a PRU or similar setting is ideal, or a security background.

This PRU School maintains a Good rating, issued by Ofsted as of 2022. The school is based in Newham, with close transport links to the DLR and several buses for public commuters.
