Position Details:
- Role: Midday Assistant
- Location: Tower Hamlets
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM - 1:30 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Age Group: Children aged 2-6 years with complex needs, including Autism and physical disabilities
- Personal Care: Required as part of the role
- Opportunities: Potential for additional hours and cover shifts available

As a Midday Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our young learners with SEN (Special Educational Needs) during their midday break. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in sensory play and creative activities, fostering a nurturing environment for children with complex needs.

Daily Duties:
- Supervise and engage children during lunchtime, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with personal care needs, including feeding and hygiene.
- Facilitate sensory play activities that promote engagement and development.
- Encourage social interaction and communication among children.
- Support children in their creative play, using various materials and resources.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and report on children's behavior and progress to the teaching team.
- Ensure a clean and organized play area post-lunch.
