Metalis Recruitment : An opportunity has arisen for a Plater to join a prestigious manufacturing company based in Chesterfield.

Duties & Responsibilities

Plating Medium/Heavy structural steel-work
Working on all size bespoke jobs
You will be responsible for assisting in the manufacture of materials and components used in many sectors
Participating and contributing to Continuous Improvement activities.
Interpreting manufacturing paperwork (Engineering drawings)
Ensuring products are stored correctly to avoid contamination and damage.
Maintaining a good standard of cleanliness in work area.
Reporting all shortages, scrap, and downtime as necessary.
Rectifying defects where possible and contribute towards problem solving.The company are looking for a Plater OR Welder who has the following skills and experiences:

Time Served
Long term employment
Ideally have industrial manufacturing industry experience
Awareness of safety, health, environmental and quality issues.
Team player
Ability to work well in fast paced environmentsShifts & Salary:
