Hourly rate: £18 per hour

Our client, a leading company in the facilities management industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Facilities Technician to join their team.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, machinery, and systems within the facility.
Conduct inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs and installations.
Monitor and respond to facility alarms and emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and work orders.
Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programmes.
Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and company standards.
Collaborate with other members of the facilities team to support organisation-wide initiatives.
Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and external contractors.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Facilities Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Proficient in the use of tools and equipment commonly used in facilities maintenance.
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
