April 2025Connaught Education is presently working in partnership with a high achieving, independent preparatory school based in Kent which caters for pupils from the ages of 3-13. The school in question is currently looking to appoint a full-time, permanent, Director of Music to start in April 2025.

The school in question is approaching 100 years old, it has a rich, broad and varied curriculum designed to stimulate and inspire all children, it's music department is thriving, and music forms a vital part of school life.

The appointed Director of Music will teach classes from Nursery to Year 8, lead on school concerts, performances, and choral groups, and oversee the peripatetic staff for the music department.

The successful applicant will be an accomplished teacher of Music, with a knowledge of the 11plus for Kent, they will possess a relevant degree and QTS.

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Kent's most prestigious independent schools in a position of responsibility on a permanent basis.
