Nexus Supply Chain Talent is proud to support a leading distribution business in finding an experienced and highly motivated General Manager for a new site opening in Birmingham.
The key responsibilities for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will be:
* Oversee daily warehousing and transport operations, ensuring efficient processes and standards are set.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, ensuring customer SLAs and KPIs are met.
* Lead, motivate, and manage the team on site, ensuring high levels of engagement.
* Drive a health & safety focused culture on site, maintaining a safe working environment for all employees.
* Manage the site's P&L, controlling and managing costs while meeting budgetary targets.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will have:
* Previous experience as a General Manager of a distribution centre.
* Experience managing a high head count site is advantageous.
* Experience managing a budget, alongside setting and managing budgets.
* A track record of delivering strong KPIs.
The successful candidate for the role of General Manager based in Birmingham will receive:
* A salary of up to £85,000 DOE.
* A company car or car allowance.
* 25% bonus.
* Company pension scheme + private healthcare.
