Connected Car Validation Engineer

What You Will Do

Perform end-to-end system validation for connected car telematics systems, covering both the on-board and off-board environments in vehicle and in bench test and ensuring function, performance, and reliability.
Test/investigation reports, test plan and test method generation
Create and execute detailed test plans in line with project schedules and milestones.
Conduct root cause investigations under guidance, utilising data logging and analysis.
Collaborate across functions with quality, project management, and engineering teams to ensure transparency and early response to concerns.
Use industry-standard management systems such as JIRA and TestRail for concern categorisation and tracking.
Provide technical support and software management for both the vehicle manufacturing plant and the test fleet.
What You Will Bring

Experience in software application into vehicle ECUs, including flashing, coding/configuration, and calibration.
Knowledge of software programming and software quality assurance.
Experience of software application into vehicle ECUs in the manufacturing environment – flashing, coding/configuration, and calibration.
Understanding the regional and regulation requirements for different markets globally.
Experience of risk assessing software modifications and develop appropriate test plans.
Proficiency in using CANalyzer, CANoe, Matlab software, or similar for data capture and analysis.
Understanding of network communications and multiple bus principles (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
Proven problem-solving skills, preferably with knowledge of tools and techniques like Kepner Tregoe or Six Sigma.
A degree in a relevant discipline, paired with fluent English language skills.
