Holcim UK is looking for an experienced Loading Shovel Operator to join our team at Bardon Hill. This is a great opportunity for an operator with a strong safety focus to work with a leading company in the industry.

Role: Loading Shovel Operator

Location: Holcim UK Limited, Bardon Hill Quarry, Bardon Road, Coalville, LE67 1TL

Pay: £15ph PAYE + OT at x1.5

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am to 6pm (60 hours per week, OT available)

Contract: Temp to Perm (3-6 months initially, with potential for a permanent role)

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating loading shovel machinery safely and efficiently

* Handling materials and ensuring timely delivery to designated areas

* Conducting routine checks on equipment and reporting any issues

* Adhering to strict health and safety procedures

Essential Requirements:

* Valid Loading Shovel licence

* Experience operating a loading shovel in an industrial setting

* Familiarity with loader joystick operation

* Valid UK driving licence and own transport

* Previous experience in a similar role

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
