A little bit about the role…
We are seeking a Junior/Newly Qualified Management Accountant or somebody who is nearly qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and is eager to progress and enthusiastic about learning, improving team processes, and contributing to a great workplace culture. While construction experience is not necessary, a proactive attitude and a willingness to engage in site visits is important. We value individuals who are eager to learn and continuously seek improvements. We focus on personal and professional development, creating a supportive environment for sharing ideas and tackling challenges. Our goal is to enhance not just work processes but also our team culture and learning experiences to ensure everyone enjoys their roles.
 
As a Management Accountant, you will be:
Management Accounts (50%):
 
Ensure the month-end process runs smoothly.
Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
Resolve payment issues.
Handle VAT, cash flow, overhead, and group queries.
Address other accounting tasks as needed 

Business Improvement (50%):

Collaborate with the Senior FP&A and Financial Controller to become a well-rounded finance professional.
Identify and implement improvements in finance and other operational areas.
Engage with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, and Shared Services to drive process enhancements.
Contribute to fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. 
A little bit about you…

Newly or nearly qualified (ACCA/CIMA).
Strong desire to learn and improve team processes.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to engage in site visits and understand operational aspects
