Job Purpose:

As a key member of the Engineering Service Support Team, the Field Service Engineer will play a crucial role in delivering world-class solutions to factories and intralogistics sites by simplifying transportation & conveyor procedures.

The role involves planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, recommendations, participation in a callout rota, and machine maintenance aligned with customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform planned preventative maintenance and suggest system improvements.

* Complete the service rota efficiently.

* Ensure safety compliance and conduct mechanical/electrical repairs.

* Collaborate with the team for innovation and system enhancements.

* Manage incident/accident reporting and implement preventive strategies.

* Prioritize workload for effective time management.

Qualifications Required:

City and Guilds or equivalent recognized apprenticeship

Essential Experience:

Engineering experience in parcel handling, FMCG/manufacturing.

Familiarity with inverter drives, SCADA control, profibus, Asi, PC/PLC control.

Successful delivery against contractual targets and KPIs.

Extensive experience in managing service contracts.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Commitment to continuous improvement.

Ability to build effective working relationships.

PC literate with strong interpersonal skills.

Effective time management and organizational skills.

Willingness to travel within the UK.
