Position: Dimensional Quality Inspector
Hourly Rate: £15.89 per hour
Shift: Monday to Friday, Day Shift
Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed Dimensional Quality Inspector to join our client's precision engineering team. In this crucial role, you will ensure that products meet exacting specifications through rigorous testing and inspection. Your responsibilities will include validating incoming materials and approving finished products, with a strong emphasis on precision and thoroughness.
Key Responsibilities:
* Approve finished products by conducting detailed visual and dimensional inspections.
* Validate incoming materials to ensure compliance with all visual and dimensional requirements.
* Maintain and coordinate the repair of measurement equipment.
* Uphold safety and health standards within the workplace.
* Collaborate with various departments and undertake additional tasks as needed.
* Operate Mitutoyo CMM.
Essential Qualifications:
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Proficient in using standard engineering tools and inspecting machined components.
* Experience in programming and operating Mitutoyo or Aberlink CMMs.
* Knowledge of handling non-conforming products and adhering to customer specifications.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with Dye Pen testing.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
* Experience using Faro Arms and Trimos Vertical Height Gauge.
