Responsibilities
As a Senior Payroll Assistant you will play a key role in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time. You will be responsible for processing payroll, maintaining payroll records, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Duties:
Process monthly payrolls, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
Enter and verify payroll data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates or deductions.
Process SSPs, SMPS, PAYE, NP and BIA
Maintain and update payroll records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues.
Prepare and submit payroll reports to the Finance department.
Assist with the year-end payroll process
Stay up to date with changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.
Experience:
Proven experience in payroll processing, ideally within a property or similar environment. (5+ years)
Experience with Cloud based payroll software
