Overview
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience operating press brake machinery and working with sheet metal.

Recruitment solutions are currently recruiting on behalf of a client for a full-time temp to perm Press brake Operative to join a busy and expanding company based in the Cannock area.

Responsibilities for the day to day include…

* Operating press brake machines (ideally AMADA controls)

* Able to set and change tooling preferred.

- Set up and operate press brake machines to bend, form, and cut sheet metal
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine the correct specifications for each job
- Inspect finished pieces to ensure they meet quality standards
- Perform basic maintenance on press brake machinery
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes

Skills
- Proficiency in press brake operations
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques
- Familiarity with hand tools for assembly and grinding
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and basic maintenance
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations
