Connect2SocialWork is proud to be partnered with a local authority in Dorset, who are looking for an experienced Registered Manager for a children's home and outreach centre.

The Registered Manager is responsible for leading the children's home, ensuring high-quality care, staff management, and compliance with The Children's Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

Supervising and supporting staff
Overseeing children's care plans and safeguarding,
Managing budgets and home operations,
Liaising with multi-agency professionals, and ensuring a safe, nurturing environment.
Maintain records, conduct audits, and prepare for inspections while driving continuous improvement to enhance the home's stability and outcomes for children.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Enhanced DBS for Children's and Adults (we can obtain for you)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Diploma Level 3 children and young people (minimal standard)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it)
Thorough Understanding of Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards
Experience in Safeguarding and Child Protection
Strong Leadership and Staff Management Skills
Driving licence

Salary and Benefits:

Temp to Perm: £40-£45 per hour - 37 hours per week
Onsite parking
Opportunity for role progression and training for both permanent and temporary staff within the authority
