Salary: Starting from £40,000.00 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: Immediate (flexible for notice periods)

We are currently seeking a skilled Estimator to join a leading team, working on major fencing installation projects. This is a permanent position, ideal for someone with a background in construction estimating, who will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, sourcing materials, and managing project procurement.

Key Responsibilities of the Estimator

As part of the estimating team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Reporting to the Estimating Manager, your core responsibilities will include: • Preparing accurate take-offs and bills of quantities for fencing installation projects • Reviewing and interpreting project documentation to produce comprehensive cost, time, material, and labour estimates • Identifying cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality standards • Sourcing and ordering necessary materials and supplies for project execution • Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery

Required Skills and Experience

To be successful in this Estimator role, you will need to have: • Experience in construction estimating, costing, or procurement (preferably, though not essential) • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook)

Desirable additional skills for this role include: • Familiarity with fencing installation and related materials • Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and specifications • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
