- Monday to Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00/Friday: 08:30 – 15:30

About the Role:

Actio Recruitment is assisting our Andover-based electronics client in their search for an SMT Operator. This full-time, permanent role requires someone experienced in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) operations. During the training period, you will work standard day shift hours before transitioning to the early shift.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate SMT machines to manufacture high-quality electronic assemblies.

* Pasting, printing and loading pick and place machines.

* Ensure all production and quality standards are met.

* Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot any issues.

Requirements:

* Experience in operating SMT equipment desirable – but not essential.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.

* Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
