The Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional who will be passionate and engaging in their approach, and able to think and work strategically to seek out and convert business opportunities. You will be focussing on developing strong relationships with our clients’ and will have a proven ability to talk at business-to-business level. You will proactively seek out new business opportunities by fostering and developing relationships with prospects over the phone, face to face and at networking events who are looking to move or expand and secure opportunities to tender the works. You will be responsible for:
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
* Seek out business leaders with office moves, school moves and/or expansion plans and win opportunities for space planning services that result in tendering the works.
* Developing relationships with senior client contacts for recurring business
* Client engagement reporting directly to the owner, proactively scheduling exploration calls and site surveys
* Collaborate with Telecoms, IT Support and Managed Print Account Managers to maximise cross/upsell opportunities
* Market research.
* Relationship/Account Management.
* CRM Management.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients.
The Candidate:
You will be able to demonstrate 3+ years’ experience in a business-to-business telesales environment, ideally design and build. You will have a keen interest in business and have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed in a target driven environment. You will need the following:
* Proven experience in a Business Development role within the design and build industry.
* Strong understanding of office refurbishments and large-scale fit outs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
* Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant tools.
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
