We are looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager to join our successful Client Services team. This will be a Hybrid role, with travel required to our Kirkham office.
Role and Responsibilities
The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing all supplier relationships across Inspired at a strategic level. The role would involve being the first point of contact for day to day supplier operations, both internally and externally; dealing with escalations, developing relationships, understanding internal tams requirements and looking for opportunities for Inspired.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and internal teams, at every level within an organisation.
* Create and maintain a supplier meeting schedule, which should be shared internally.
* Lead supplier meetings, produce meeting minutes and manage actions
* Be the main point of contact for day to day supplier operations
* Create and maintain a risk register
* Attend supplier conferences to represent Inspired.
* Engage with internal teams to understand their requirement of supplier engagement, discussing any supplier problems, opportunities and manage escalations
* Manage project plans and product development with suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Collate and maintain an internal centralised hub of supplier information communicating any changes.
* Manage the supplier tender recipients list
* Keep up to date with industry updates and communicate internally
* Maintain the supplier SharePoint and promote with internal teams
* Present quarterly updates on supplier management to internal teams
* Monthly reporting to monitor supplier placement, total supplier volumes and values. (products – move between products)
* Manage and negotiate commercial contracts, service level agreements and KPIs with suppliers.
* Have a commercial aware to be able to review and negotiate Terms and Conditions and other commercial agreements.
* Create and manage supplier SLA dashboards to assess supplier compliance and performance
Experience and Qualifications
Essential:
* Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position
* Educated to degree level or demonstrate equivalent experience, including English and Maths at least grade C or equivalent
* Ability to travel
Desirable:
* Commercial awareness
* Experience in project management
* Experience in commercial negotiation and contracts
