Alecto Recruitment are representing a UK winch & lifting equipment hire company in their recruitment process for a Plant Fitter in Biggar. They provide winch related parts, services and repairs across the UK and overseas. The position is primarily workshop based but some on-site work and driving duties may also be involved from time to time.

Responsibilities and Duties

Maintenance, repair, testing and inspection of mechanical and powered plant and equipment.
Some on-site work and driving duties from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills

Experience of winches, hoists and cable drum trailers will be a real advantage but is not essential however, you will need a good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrics in other powered plant.
You should ideally have prior experience in the Plant Hire industry and understand the demands of this sector.
