Electricians needed in Didcot on a commercial project!

As an Electrician on our commercial project in Didcot, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems in a fast-paced, safety-focused construction environment. You will work closely with other tradespeople to ensure that electrical installations meet design specifications, safety standards, and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out electrical installations including lighting, power systems, distribution boards, and general electrical systems in line with project specifications.

* Install, route, and connect electrical cables, conduits, and trunking as per site requirements.

* Perform electrical testing, including continuity tests, insulation resistance, and functional checks on completed installations.

* Ensure all electrical work complies with the current IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), health and safety policies, and project-specific standards.

* Work closely with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to ensure project milestones are met.

* Identify and resolve any electrical issues during installation and commissioning phases.

* Complete necessary documentation for inspections, tests, and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a qualified electrician, preferably on commercial construction projects.

* Qualifications:

* City & Guilds 2365 or equivalent electrical qualification.

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).

* 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).

* Gold ECS card

* Knowledge of and commitment to maintaining high health and safety standards on-site
