We are currently recruiting for a qualified and time served Mechanical Fitter to work for an established manufacturing company based in Selby.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you will support the team in carrying out planned and reactive breakdowns, working on a large range of equipment on site (including diaphragm pumps, mono pumps, centrifugal pumps, actuators, steam, boilers, etc.)

The business are a leader within their field, supplying to a wide range of industries, and are looking for individuals that can offer good long term commitment.

The ideal candidate for the Mechanical Fitter will have the following background:

Experience working as a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter or Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or related industries (Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemicals, Foods, etc.)
Strong hands on mechanical fault finding and repair experience
Time Served with good mechanical engineering qualifications. This is a Monday-Friday days based role working alongside the Mechanical Maintenance team, with working hours being 7am-4pm

The hourly rate is £18.35ph (eqv. to £42,939pa) with additional package including - private medical, life assurance, pension, etc)
