Our client is a national M&E Engineering Construction Contractor with numerous projects covering the whole of the UK.

Job Details

Mechanical / Electrical (Semi Skilled) Labourers required to work within an offsite workshop facilitiy in the Bridgwater area. The facility supports the Hinkley Point C Power project. 

Location: Bridgwater (TA6 Postcode area), Somerset 
Duration: 18 months (Potentially longer)  

Start date: Mid April 2025

Role: Hands on physical role requiring some mechanical knowledge and involves the assembly of cable containment supports and panel support frames, packing supports and frames for transport to site ansd completing assembly records (via electronic tablet)

Responsibilities:

Handling tools and machinery required for fabriction inc. drills, cold cut saws, torque wrenches, etc.

Ability to understand basic engineering drawings and maintain records of work

General labouring tasks inc. lifting, loading and moving materials

Follow safety protocols

Previous experience in an Elect / Mech Labourer / Semi Skilled role preferred particularly in a engineering construction environment  

Must be local to site / within travelling distance

PAY RATES PAYE: First 38 hours Monday to Thursday £20.14, After 38 hours Mon to Thurs, all day Fri and Sat first 4 hrs £28.20, Sat after 4 hrs and Sun £36.26WORKING PATTERN: 5 day week / 44 hrs per week basic
