Construction Planner - Main Contractor

Location: Surrey
Salary: Up to £90,000 + £5,000 car allowance, private healthcare, 5 weeks holiday, and a pension scheme

We are seeking an experienced Construction Planner to join a reputable Main Contractor within their Build Division. With multiple projects underway and a strong pipeline, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in project planning and delivery. Reporting directly to the Build Director, you’ll be responsible for overseeing two schemes at a time, ensuring projects are planned efficiently and delivered on time.

This is a great opportunity for a Construction Planner to take a leading role in project planning from pre-construction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities for the Construction Planner:

Take the lead on project planning, ensuring realistic and achievable construction schedules.
Develop and maintain detailed programmes using industry-leading software.
Work closely with the Build Director and project teams to coordinate and optimise planning.
Provide regular updates, risk analysis, and progress reports on live projects. Essential Requirements for the Construction Planner:

Proven experience as a Construction Planner within the Main Contractor environment.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and risk management.
Proficiency in planning software (Asta Powerproject or Primavera preferred).
Excellent communication and analytical skills to provide clear planning strategies. Benefits for the Construction Planner:
