Transport Planner - Wigan

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 per year

Location: Ashton, Wigan

Shift Pattern: Monday- Tuesday Permanent, Full-Time 10 -7

Your Role:

As a Transport Planner, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring that our customer deliveries run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include:

Scheduling and planning day-to-day deliveries to meet customer needs
Building and nurturing strong relationships with both new and existing customers
Ensuring full compliance with transport legislation
Monitoring fleet maintenance and keeping drivers in the loop
Inputting KPIs, resolving delivery issues, and preparing essential paperwork

What We're Looking For:

2+ years of experiencein a Transport Planner role
A commercial mindset-someone who can identify cost savings and find opportunities for growth
Strong administrative skills, with excellent IT proficiency
High attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
Knowledge of WTD, Drivers Hours, Tachograph, and Transport Legislation
The ability to work independently as well as within a team to get things done
