Assembly Operative

Pertemps are recruiting for an Assembly Operative for a bespoke manufacturer just outside of Salisbury, Wiltshire. This is Full-Time, temporary position. As an Assembly Operative, you will be working in a small friendly team to assemble Mechanical and Electrical components using a wide range of tools.

Job Details:
£11.44 per hour
Immediate Start
Temporary Ongoing
Salisbury SP5
Monday to Friday 08:30 - 16:30 with 15:30 finish on Friday

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut and assemble components
- Pick items as per the works instruction
- Build items to manufacturing procedures
- Test items to relevant production test procedures and update test record
- Ensure all machinery and equipment is used is left in a safe & clean condition
- Work alone and as part of a team building large/complex orders

Requirements for this role:
- Mechanical/Electrical assembly experience ideal
- Use of hand, power and crimping tools
- Ability to read and follow instructions in both written and verbal format
- Attention to detail
- Able to get to site
