Maintenance Technician

Location: Shrewsbury

Salary: £35,000 to £40,000

An opportunity has opened for a Maintenance Technician to join an engineering company based in Shrewsbury. The ideal candidate will have a multi-skilled background with Electrical and Mechanical maintenance and servicing knowledge and also have experience of basic installations.

What they’re looking for:

* Background as a Maintenance Technician, Service Technician or similar engineering role

* Electrical and Mechanical experience

* Maintenance, servicing and repairs experience

* Any installation experience would be a bonus

* Troubleshooting / fault finding experience

* Customer support knowledge

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

* Providing maintenance on installed systems and inspecting

* Servicing and providing emergency breakdown support

* Fault find and upgrading of machinery

* Installing new electrical and mechanical systems

* Documenting any changes and repairs made

* Customer support if there are any problems to installed machinery and systems
