My client is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis based in Leeds. The successful candidate will assist the Project Manager in leading a £100m residential mixed-use development project in Leeds. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing all daily site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to impeccable quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all on-site construction activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.
Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any challenges swiftly.
Maintain clear communication and alignment between project stakeholders, such as clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Inspire and lead on-site teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence.
Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and industry standards.
Oversee site documentation, including permits, drawings, and progress reports.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement best practices to drive site performance.
Experience and qualifications

Proven track record as a Senior Site Manager within the construction industry.
Experience of RC Frame, façade/envelope and external packages
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and best practices.
Skilled in package management and sub-contractor management
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
Proficiency in project management software.
Relevant qualifications and certifications SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
