Reports to: HR Manager
Location: Wood Green, North London
Salary: £35k-£40k per annum + benefits
Type: Full-time (hybrid)Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Wood Green.

Role Purpose

Support managers and employees with workplace issues like absences, performance concerns, and disputes.
Ensure company policies and employment rules are followed while helping with training and development.
Assist with recruitment, payroll updates, and HR paperwork to keep everything running smoothly.Main Duties

Help managers handle staff issues like sick leave, performance problems, and workplace disputes.
Give advice to employees and managers on company rules and job conditions.
Make sure payroll updates are shared and processed correctly.
Support the HR Manager in training managers and improving leadership skills.
Join meetings with managers to review ongoing employee issues and spot patterns.
Take notes during important meetings, like investigations and disciplinary hearings.
Assist in hiring new employees by being part of interview panels.
Work with different teams to ensure HR processes run smoothly.Requirements

CIPD Qualified
Experience dealing with workplace issues like sick leave, disputes, and disciplinary cases.
Ability to coach and support managers with staff and company changes.
Excellent level of digital literacy
Good organisation, planning, multitasking and time management skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
