CNC Sliding Head Role

Yorkshire Precision Engineering Ltd are a successful busy Sub Contract Engineering Company that work in a wide range of industries and are looking for a CNC Sliding Head Setter Operator to join the team offering excellent rates of pay to the right candidate.

Job Description

* Setting and Operating CNC Star Sliding Head Lathes

* Working to tight tolerances

* Producing high precision batch work components anywhere from 50 off to 1000s off.

* Setting and Operating using Fanuc Controls

* Producing parts from various general engineering and exotic materials

* Operating and setting on New and up to date machinery

Skills Required

* Previous Setting and Operating CNC Sliding head or Fixed head Lathes experience

* (The ability to program is advantageous but not essential)

* Previous experience working within a precision manufacturing environment.

* The ability to read and Interpret engineering drawings

* Must be Self-motivated, dedicated and able to work under own initiative.

* Training will be provided

200 hours holiday per year + Statutory holidays

Every 3 years service 10 hours holiday added.

! 4 Day Week !

Working 40 hours per week Monday-Thursday 7am to 5:30pm (Start betweeen 6am & 7am)
