About Us: Generation Services is a key growth area within npower's Industrial & Commercial (I&C) Pillar, offering independent generators a market platform to sell their generated electricity and environmental certificates. As a rapidly expanding division, Generation Services currently contributes approximately 25% of the overall I&C EBITA, with ambitious growth plans of around 20% per annum. This growth aligns with the UK's net zero targets, making this an exciting time to join our team.

Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Generation Services Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing the timely and accurate production and distribution of monthly power statements and invoice backing data for our external Generation Services customers. This role also involves overseeing the receipt and processing of environmental products such as ROCs, REGOs, and GoOs, and developing billing and settlement processes for innovative renewable products.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and issue monthly electricity statements or invoices to sites with both new and existing products in the industrial and commercial sectors.
Understand and interpret complex electricity contracts and products.
Manage the processing and reporting of environmental certificates (ROCs, REGOs, GoOs).
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Generation Services customers, ensuring transparent communication regarding all settlement activities.
Raise and resolve queries related to data analysis and contract interpretation, ensuring satisfactory outcomes for both internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments within npower to support issue resolution, setting and agreeing on SLAs.
Download, analyze, and validate metered data for the settlements process.
Work to reduce the aged debt position within Generation Services.
Ensure that invoicing processes are accurate, timely, and continuously improved, particularly for gas and electricity products.
Document all processes following the development or introduction of new products.
Prioritize own workflow effectively, considering the value of deals, deadlines, and the priorities of key stakeholders.Essential Requirements:

Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent with strong commercial awareness.
Experience in a commercial/analytical role within the utilities industry.
Advanced numeracy, commercial judgment, and analytical skills.
A rational and analytical approach to data manipulation.
Ability to identify and resolve complex numerical problems.
Results-oriented, able to meet tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment with conflicting priorities.
Strong communication and influencing skills across all levels.
Demonstrated ability to be a good team player, flexible, and forward-thinking.
