About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for installing, servicing and maintaining refrigeration systems for supermarkets, retail chains and large commercial sites.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer :

Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems (CO₂, DX, pack systems).
*
Install & commission refrigeration units in supermarkets, cold storage facilities, and large commercial properties.
*
Fault-find and provide emergency repairs to minimize client downtime.
*
Ensure compliance with F-Gas, CO₂ safety protocols, and industry standards.
*
Work directly with supermarket facility teams to keep their refrigeration systems running efficiently.
What We’re Looking For:
*
5+ years of commercial refrigeration engineer experience (supermarkets & large retail sites preferred).
*
Strong knowledge of CO₂ systems, HFCs, and natural refrigerants.
*
F-Gas Category 1 certification (mandatory).
*
Experience with pack systems, chillers, cold rooms, and multi-deck display cases.
*
Strong fault-finding & diagnostic skills.
*
Full UK driving license and ability to work on-call when required.
