HGV Technician Needed

Company Vehicle ( mobile HGV Technician position)

Our client, a private independent fleet maintenance company, is seeking Mobile/Onsite HGV Technician to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle repairs, safety inspections, and MOT preparations. We require a responsible and independent HGV mechanic who can work on various vehicles, from commercial to small vans.

Role: Mobile/ Workshop HGV Technician

Hours: Monday to Friday : 6pm -2pm one week; second week 2pm to 10pm; Saturdays- occasional @ overtime rate

Location: Luton

Key Responsibilities:

* Carry out safety inspections

* Preventative maintenance checks

* Services

* Fault diagnostics

* MOT preparations

* Engine, gearbox, transmission, drive train, and clutch work

* Associated paperwork, reporting, and administration

Requirements:

* Must have a driving license

* Driving License Class 1 and Class 2 would be an advantage

* Reliable, trustworthy, literate, and able to work on your own initiative

* Must be flexible

* Previous experience is essential

* City & Guilds qualified or NVQ qualified in vehicle maintenance
